ABOUT US

OUR STORY
AusDive Guide was born in 2012 from a simple idea: to create the most comprehensive and reliable resource for diving in Australia. It all started when our founder, Emma Wilson, a marine biologist and passionate diver, found herself constantly fielding questions from international friends about where and when to dive in Australia.
What began as a simple blog documenting Emma's personal diving experiences across Australia quickly evolved into something much bigger. Within a year, Emma had partnered with underwater photographer James Cooper and local diving expert David Noonan to expand the guide's coverage and expertise.
By 2015, AusDive Guide had grown from a passion project to a full-fledged enterprise, offering not just online resources but also personalized guidance, workshops, and conservation initiatives. We established our headquarters in Cairns to be close to the Great Barrier Reef, though our team now conducts research and diving expeditions all around Australia's 35,000+ kilometers of coastline.
Today, with over a decade of experience, AusDive Guide has helped more than 50,000 divers from around the world discover Australia's underwater wonders. Our comprehensive guides, seasonal updates, and personalized recommendations have become the gold standard for diving tourism in Australia, earning recognition from international diving organizations and conservation groups alike.
